Paul BUCKER Obituary

Paul A. Buckner, 80, of Clayton, WA, passed away on September 9, 2023. He was born on January 29, 1943, in Portland, OR, to Arnold and Dorothy Buckner. Paul is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Buckner; his son, Dan Buckner of Buckeye, AZ; his daughter Debbi Vigue of Spokane, WA, and his daughter, Cindi DeWitt of Clayton, WA, as well as 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Buckner; his mother, Dorothy Buckner; and his daughter, Dawn Buckner.

Paul attended Roosevelt High School and later pursued higher education at Portland University. In 2011 he retired from a 40-year career in the medical malpractice profession.

Paul had a deep passion for the outdoors. He was an avid backpacker, hunter, and fisherman, finding solace and joy in nature. Paul has been a member of Crossover Church since 1997, where he found spiritual guidance and support, plus a wealth of warm friendships.

A memorial service to honor Paul's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, at Crossover Church, 16825 North Newport Highway, Mead, WA, across from Cat Tails. Please join us in remembering and celebrating the life of Paul Buckner. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
