Pauline DINGMAN Obituary

November 28, 1925 - May 25, 2025

Pauline Chlorissa (Sieg) Dingman age 99, went to be with her Lord and Savior May 25, 2025. Pauline was born in Hartline, Washington, to Russell and Chloie Sieg. Her siblings: twin boys, Irvin and Ivan Sieg who died at birth, Dorothy Sieg, William Sieg, Luella (Sieg) Bowen, Robert Sieg and Ralph Sieg, all grew up on the farm and went to the Hartline Public Schools. Pauline was very active in high school and was a cheerleader during her junior year. She graduated salutatorian in 1943. She would later go on to graduate from Northwest Bible Institute (now known as Northwest University) and then later completed her teaching degree at Seattle Pacific College. Throughout her time in the Seattle area, Pauline would often sing with her sisters, Luella and Dorothy. They were quite popular on the radio.

Pauline taught for two years at the Highline-Shoreline District and was attending University Presbyterian Church Singles group, where she met this handsome guy from Butte, MT, Robert Dingman. Bob and Pauline would marry July 19, 1957, at the Hartline Assembly of God Church. After settling in Bellevue, Bob was employed in construction until 1962. Following that, Bob and Pauline started farming with her father and ultimately took over the family farm upon his death in 1964. They raised four children in Hartline. Pauline led a full life. Her door was always open, with a hot cup of coffee waiting. She enjoyed racing around the country for her kids and grandkids sporting events. She was active in her local PTA and church. She played the organ for many years, not only at church, but for local funerals and weddings. Pauline was an avid sports fan, following Gonzaga and Golden State Basketball along with Mariner Baseball. Every year, she attended the State B Tournament when she was able. She was witty and full of laughter with a twinkle in her eye and a story to tell. She loved the Lord with all of her being and taught many the way to eternal life.

Pauline is survived by her children, Russell (Julie) Dingman of Hartline, Evelyn (Scott) Hamann of Spokane, Roberta (Brad) Bigalk of Johnstown, CO, and Doug (Beth) Dingman of Tacoma. She was the last of her generation, being preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, aunts and uncles. She has 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who loved her deeply.
