Peggy HUBBLE Obituary

Dec 12, 2025

Peggy Ann Hubble, 83, passed away on December 12, 2025, at her home in St. John. She was born June 20, 1942, to Lawrence and Irene Davis in Walla Walla, WA.

She attended the last one-room schoolhouse in Walla Walla County through 4th grade, then attended Walla Walla public schools. She graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1960. She and her sister, Carol, were raised on a small farm on Mill Creek Road, east of Walla Walla. She went on to attend Pacific Lutheran University for one year and then went to Washington State University, where she graduated in 1964.

She spent 30 years teaching 3rd grade, 4th grade, kindergarten, and special education. She taught in Shoreline of Seattle, San Juan School District in Sacramento, and Endicott and St. John Schools.

She married Max Hubble in 1964, and together they raised two sons, Matt and Jon.

Through the years, she has enjoyed jogging/walking, reading, cross-stitch, gardening, cooking, crossword puzzles, bridge, and other word games.

She is survived by her two sons, Matt (Margaret) and Jon (Becky); five grandchildren, Sara, Austin, Davis, Ava, and Mason; and her sister, Carol Delany, in Walla Walla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max, in 2024, and by her parents.
