Phyllis LUNDSTROM

LUNDSTROM, Phyllis (Age 88) Phyllis passed away on November 21, 2014. She was born Phyllis L. Hogan in Colville, WA on March 27, 1926. Phyllis often commented on her happy childhood even though life had its challenges with her mother's passing when she was only 12 years old, and the multiple moves throughout her early life. Phyllis married her beloved, Robert (Bob) Lundstrom on January 14, 1949, and enjoyed a joyous life in Spokane raising two boys. Robert preceded her in death in 1986. Phyllis was highly regarded for her kindness to all. She is remembered for many things, including her creation of beautiful wedding and birthday cakes for her family and friends. Besides cooking, she loved gardening, canning, and sewing. She loved watching her sons play their many sports, and enjoyed camping with her sons and with her grandchildren on the Oregon Coast. Phyllis will be missed and lovingly remembered by many people. She is survived by her children Robert Lundstrom Jr. and wife MaryJo, Bradley Lundstrom and his wife Susan, and from a previous marriage Norma Kaye Almer and Ernest Watts; three grandchildren Amy (Lundstrom) Burke and husband Jeff, Jacob Lundstrom and Ian Lundstrom; one surviving sister Norma Warner; and many nieces, nephews, their spouses and their children that loved her dearly, as well as the other people that she touched with her supportive and kind heart. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 12:00-2:00 pm at the VFW Post 51, 300 W. Mission, Spokane, WA for family and friends.
