Renee LEWIS-MANNING Obituary

November 2, 1951- October 25, 2025

Renee died suddenly and unexpectedly, surrounded by her family.

Renee worked as a CPA for many years at McDermid Mickelson and Seacrest, until her retirement in 2016. She was a dedicated member of Executive Women International for many years. Renee was a very devout Catholic and has held seats on many different Parish councils over the years. She was very proud to be a member of the St. Franciscan Secular Order, where she served in several roles, but being a spiritual advisor was her most favorite. Renee was a very active member of Catholic Daughters and volunteered her time to this organization for many years and served on their council board as well. Renee was also a Eucharistic Minister for several churches over the years. She was truly a servant of Christ, she did not just read the Bible, but she lived it through kindness, and service to those around her. Her proudest role was being a grandma and what an amazing grandmother she was. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Renee was preceded in death by her son, Stacy Caman, and mourned by her surviving family; daughter, Meagan Kappen, son-in-law Jayson Kappen, and grandsons, Carus, Drake, and Jett Kappen. Son, Trevor Carman, daughter-in-law, Angela Aaberg, and granddaughter, Tayla Carman. Son, Shawn Lifferth, and grandkids, Hannah, Colby, and Gabriela Lifferth.

Her Rosary Service is November 12th, at 6:00 pm, and her Funeral Mass will be celebrated November 13th, at 11:00 am, both at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Reception at the church will follow the graveside service which will be at 12:30 pm, at St. Josephs Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Catholic Daughters or Catholic Charities.

I am so sorry to hear that dear Renee has passed. Although we have only known one another a few years, I truly treasured her friendship and looked forward to sharing adventures with her in the coming years. I enjoyed her recounting her trip to the British Isles this past year. I´m so glad we shared several days at the quilt retreat in Montana in September. I will cherish the warm hugs we exchanged at the WSQ quilt show just a week before she passed. My deepest condolences to Renee´s family.
