You were my best friend in training (anesthesiology) and my family moved to Spokane as your freinds. I remember my oldest son (Chris) playing with Whittany as we played golf. Also, the love/respect my wife (Susan) and I had for you and Connie (& kids) in memory my friend love extends.

Rex I'm speechless, you always saw the light in others, the value, and their human potential. Your sincere heart touched all of us. You made dreamers into believers, and captivated us all. If you were a patient you brought comfort their bedside, if you needed energy to get us through the day you provided a light at the end of the tunnel. Your encouragement towards the people you came into contact with will be forged on our hearts forever. May you rest in the beautiful and resting place. May the angels lift you up to the heavens above, and may your soul be never forgotten, God bless and rest upon you my friend.

Dr Porter was such a kind man and wonderful boss for over 20 years.He will be missed by so many of us who worked with him.Rest in peace. Our thoughts are with his family.
