I worked with Rick at Danzas and it's still hard to think of him not being here anymore. He was an excellent coworker and I'm sorry he's gone.

Uncle Richard,
Thank you so much for those huge movie posters that covered the lime green walls in my room at Dad's. I also want to thank you for letting me win at chess when I was 12 during Easter, it was the highlight of my chess playing career. Though we didn't speak much, you, Aunt Patty, Ricky and Misty were thought of often.

I remember Rick as a young man about town. He was happy and carefree. I remember Rick coming back from Vietnam, stronger, but much more somber. He would not talk about his time there but you could see how terrible it was by the way he was affected. I remember Rick when he first met Patty, it was like the sun came out and his whole life changed for the better. He found his sole mate and that changed his life path from that day forward. Richard was a good, decent man and will be missed. God bless him, and God bless his family.

Many people spend their lives searching for what they perceive as important and never finding it, failing to see what you knew all along that family, friends, and the wonders of nature are all that matter. Thank you, for being my brother-in-law.

My contact with Rick was limited because of the distance from each other. When we did get together, it was very pleasant as Rick and Patty were great people to be around and you always felt so comfortable. I just don't know why God takes the good ones early and he was one of the greatest.

I was fortunate to work with Rick at Danzas in Bellevue WA for many years. Rick and Patty are like parents to me, opening their hearts and home (Desert Aire home) Good times!
Patty, look forward to seeing you again soon. Love, Hadley

Uncle Rick,
What a great guy! Everytime we got together it felt like hanging out with a friend. I will have no regrets if I could live my life half the way you lived yours. I am going to miss you a lot and you will always be in my heart.
