Robert FLOYD Obituary

May 21, 1947 - August 24, 2023

Robert Earl Floyd "Bob", 76, of Airway Heights, WA. passed away on 24 August 2023 after a battle with heart disease.

Robert was born on May 21, 1947, to Howard Louis Floyd and Sena Elizabeth Rumford Floyd in Dolomite, Alabama. He graduated from Butler High School in Huntsville, Alabama, in 1965. Robert went on to enlist in the U.S. Air Force where he served for four years. After his tour in the Air Force, he went into copier repair and eventually started his own repair company. After many years of running his successful business he sold the company. He then started a screen printing company that he ran until his retirement.

In 1969 Robert met Jane Hartill in Spokane Wa. They were married in 1970 in Chewelah, WA.

In 2006 Robert retired and spent his time traveling with Jane, He also loved fishing, camping, and hunting. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge and stories with friends, neighbors, and our family.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife Jane and his parents Howard and Sena Floyd.

He is survived by his brothers Micheal, David and Ron. Also survived by his adopted family Allen and Sharon Martell.

Graveside Service will be held on August 31 at 1 pm in the Chewelah Memorial Park.
