Robert "Bob" PORTER

Bob was born May 10, 1954, in Spokane, Washington, to John and Norma Porter. He went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2024.

Bob attended St. Xavier's school from grades one through eight. The family then moved to Mead where he attended Mead High School. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany from 1971-1974.

He worked at EZ Loader Boat Trailers for numerous years before going to work at the new Spokane Boeing plant as a Quality Assurance Inspector until he retired from Triumph in 2020.

Through the years Bob enjoyed playing pool and recently joined a bowling league. He was an avid golfer. On his 60th birthday, he played at Pebble Beach, checking off one of his bucket list items. He loved all sports and loved talking with his kids and grandkids about their favorite teams.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Norma; his father, John; and his brother, Kevin. He is survived by the love of his life, Sheri; son, Trevor (Kirstee); and daughter, Jessica (Matt); his four beautiful grandchildren, granddaughter, Ava, grandsons, Matthew, Mason, and Oskar; and his great-granddaughter, Stella. Along with the love and support of his siblings, nieces, nephews, and numerous friends. He will be dearly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at Hennessey Funeral Home on Division Street on May 5, 2024, at 10 a.m.
