Loved Mama Sal like she was my mother! Best compliment I ever got was when an umpire asked me who Sally Jackson was and said yes I do. He replied, you are just like her! I took that as a huge compliment! Miss your laugh and kindness.

For over thirty years Sal enlightened my civics classes at U High as a guest speaker. She loved coming and spending the day trying to wake kids from their slumber and care for their fellow man. The kids could sense her passion and it was always a special day in their life when the old gal showed her face and proceeded to make them laugh while teaching them about her life story. It is amazing what one women could do in her life time to make our world a better place. You were loved by so many. You will be remembered.

I met Sally in the '70's When I was in the hospitality business in Spokane. She was a very intelligent lady with a zest for all things life, quite astute politically and heavily involved in her community. One of a kind for sure who will definitely be missed.May she rest in peace.

I saw Sally thru many softball games when my daughter played with Rickie and then being the wife of an umpire. And when Hillary Clinton was running for president I went to my first causus and she took me under her arm by teaching me about politics. Loved all of her letters to the editors of Spokesman Review. Great lady!

Quite a memorable lady. Generous and supportive to all youth and to her community. Greatly admired by many and quite a sense of humor. I have followed her life thru girls sports, the political arena and just her love of things.
