Scott was a loyal and true friend always. He was quick to lift you up and reluctant to criticize. His love of puns and sharp wit kept your mind occupied and always running after his quick mind. Even though he was far and away ahead intellectually he never outpaced you with intention, it was more about revealing and encouraging your own insight. Scott was a truly loving man and I will always be grateful for his presence in my life. Sleep in peace dear Scott and may you be eternally blessed with the rewards due to a rare honest and good man.

My sincere condolences to Scott's family. I have many fond memories of Scott growing up in Ephrata. I remember him for his love of music and sports and his keen intellect. I am very sad to learn of his untimely passing.
