Sharon CARNLINE Obituary

Sharon Ann Carnline passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 61. Sharon was born on January 2, 1962, in Spokane, Washington, to Charles and Leola Wheeler. Charles passed away in an automobile accident in 1965. Leola cared for Sharon until she also passed from a chronic illness in 1968. Thereafter Sharon was loved, nurtured, and cherished thereafter her uncle and aunt, Leo and Peggy Fausett, quickly became her father and mother. Sharon also gained five sisters and an additional brother; together they developed close and everlasting sibling relationships, as well as unrivaled work ethics, on the family cattle ranch just north of Deer Park, Washington.

Sharon was educated in the Deer Park school system where she was known for her friendly and fun-loving personality. She participated in volleyball, basketball, and the Future Business Leaders of America. Sharon graduated from Deer Park High School in 1980, and later attended Ricks College. She met the love of her life, Darrell Carnline, at a dance and social function. Sharon and Darrell were married in the Seattle Washington Temple of the LDS Church in 1983. Their marriage was truly a happy one; their devotion was demonstrated each day through expressions of love-both big and small-selflessness, and genuine enjoyment of, and appreciation for, one another. Sharon was a loving mother to four children, three of whom survived past birth. Sharon and Darrell raised their children in Deer Park.

Sharon always cherished being in the trees, riding horses, caring for her many pets, and sledding on the ranch with her brothers and sisters-and later with her children, nieces, and nephews, and grandchildren. She enjoyed exercise, including cycling and long walks in the neighborhood with her friends and family. Sharon deeply appreciated life and found peace in admiring flower gardens of all shapes and compositions. Sharon was a proud and affectionate sister, aunt, cousin, wife, mother, and grandmother; she relished the hum of lively conversation and laughter among family members. Family gatherings were regularly accompanied by a crackling fire at the ranch-and always included hearty and delicious food. Sharon loved swimming and spending time at summer family reunions held annually in the forests and on the lakeshores of northeastern Washington.

She enjoyed romance movies and taking long drives in the countryside with her husband and children-through the relaxation and comfort of the rides often found herself quickly asleep in the passenger's seat. Sharon also loved music and appreciated the beautiful piano and voices at church every Sunday. Her husband and children fondly remember returning home from church to the inviting aroma of a delicious roast cooked for her family in the slow cooker.

She endured a series of strokes at the age of 47, severely impacting her ability to walk, speak, and use her right arm and hand. Despite these challenges, Sharon pressed forward with an optimistic and dogged determination to live each day with hope, joy, and laughter. She had a strong testimony of her Savior, Jesus Christ, and affirmed her conviction of His divinity even until her final moments on this Earth. Sharon was an inspiration and source of happiness to all who knew her.

Sharon was preceded in death by her birth mother and father, Leola and Charles Wheeler; mother and father, Peggy and Leo Fausett; brother, Karl Fausett; and son, Johnathan Carnline. She is survived by her husband, Darrell Carnline; daughters, Jill (Steven) Peacock and Shauna Carnline; son, Aaren (Kirsten) Carnline; grandchildren, Juliette, Lucy, Wyatt, and Berrett Peacock; sisters, Loretta (Dale) Keeney, Anita Diane, Rebecca Fausett, Jane (Pete) Plante, and Jean Fausett; brother, Carney Reeser; seven sisters-in-law; six brothers-in-law; and forty-six nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel on Newport Highway, Chattaroy, Washington. Flowers may be sent to the chapel at 34221 N. Newport Hwy, Chattaroy, WA 99003. Donations may be made to the American Stroke Association in Sharon's name. The family would like to express sincere appreciation and gratitude to Sharon's care team at Deaconess Hospital and to all who have provided support, meals, and prayers in recent weeks and over many years. Melissa and Evelyn France, with Logan and Brooke Stark

January 23, 2023

Although Melissa was the only one that could make it, my three children, Logan and Brooke Stark and Evelyn France, were certainly there in a loving memory kinda of way. Sharon, I already miss you so very much and I thank you for being there for me as a child with all the love in the world to share! As for the Darrell, Jill, Shawna and Aaron, you guys were so incredibly blessed to Sharon as your loving mother everyday in this life and I know she will be anxiously awaiting for the day you all will be reunited in the next life to come. What a sweet day! Until we meet again Sharon, I will miss you only for a short while. I can't wait to see you on the other side! I know this is true and I will always carry Sharon in my heart and in her memory.
