Stefan B. KIPPENHAN

1989 - 2022

Stefan Bradley Kippenhan arrived on this God-given Earth on February 2, 1989, in Spokane, WA. He passed away in his sleep on March 11, 2022. Stef was loved by many. The light of his life was his 5 yr old daughter, Abigail. He referred to his wife, Lisa, as his angel.

Stefan's passions lay in his family, his friends, his faith, and Karatedo Doshinkan. He was an outdoor lover. He especially loved the water. One of his favorite places to go was the ocean, specifically the Oregon coast. He went with his family every year. Stef also loved the Spokane River where he'd contemplate life, float the river, or paddleboard with his friends. Stefan worked many years as an electric motor technician with his grandpa, Dennis, at Motor Maintenance and then later as a machinist at McGuire Bearing. His intelligence in understanding the depths of people, teaching, scripture, literature, and machinery surpassed most. Through his 33 years of life, he has taught many people about Jesus, martial arts, parenting, history, and health but he was most proud of teaching his daughter, Abby. She lit up his world. If you know anything about Stefan, you know he loved being a father and he was great at it.

Stefan had a gift of connecting with people quickly and deeply. He was so thoughtful, all he ever wanted to do was help people. Stef had a sweet nature and his soul ran deep. He will be missed by many.

Stefan leaves behind his daughter, Abigail, his wife, Lisa, mother, Cammy, "big little " brother, Jeremy, grandpa "g-pa", aunt Cindy, cousins Jacob and Robbie, niece Alice, brother-in-law, Matt, and numerous friends and family.

We will be holding a memorial service on April 2, 2022, at 11:00 am to celebrate Stefan's life. It will be held at his church, The Intersection, in Spokane Valley, WA. Following the service, after lunch, we will have a gathering at Sullivan Park.
