My favorite character of all time. Navy Recruiting was always hell. One of the few who could cheer me up, encourage me and always made me laugh. I am devastated. Way too young for a guy full of life. First time I met him was in his Recruiting Office in Glenolden, PA. He had Dottie and Pip sitting on either side of his desk. He sold me Hero and I've had GSPs ever since. We pounded a lot of brush together. See you again one day, my friend. WE have a lot of stories to reminisce about.

Tommy turned me on to German Shorthairs. i DID A TOUR OF recruiting with him in Delaware County, PA. He was a good friend and a lot of fun. I remember us going fly fishing on a workday with Tom using a cell phone to tell our supervisor that we were out interviewing recruits. We hunted a lot of birds together and I haven't been able to find him in years. This news of his passing really hurts- RIP Tommy. I hope Rob Dolan and Earl Boyer attended his funeral- wish I had. What a wild life he lead.

Tom and Val trained and often boarded, my German Shorthair, Skeeter. Tom made her into an awesome bird dog and Valerie treated her with love. God Speed my friend!

Tom always had a smile and a story to share. He made his presence known and made us all laugh when he would visit. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this time.

Very sad to hear of Tom's passing.
May God hold you in the palm of His hand and Angels watch over you.
