Traci CROMWELL Obituary

CROMWELL, Traci Anne (Nielsen)
(Age 49)

Of Spokane WA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 25th, 2018 at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center from complications associated with lung cancer (non-smoker). Traci was born March 22, 1969 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. She was a 1987 graduate of Joel E. Ferris High School, and received her bachelor's degree from Eastern Washington University in 1992. She was a long-time employee of Safeco/Liberty Mutual Insurance, where she was as well-respected as she was loved. Traci was most happy spending time with her family, whether on vacations, eating at favorite restaurants, seeing a new movie, or watching a "guilty pleasure" reality TV show with one of her kids. Any free time not spent with family was spent shopping. You might find Traci's picture next to the definition for "Maxxinista" in the dictionary. Traci is survived by husband Steve, children Matthew, Katie, and Alex, and step-daughter Sarah; mother Sharon Carson; father Terry Nielsen (Jane); Grandmother Val Hulverson; brothers Tony (Merri), Shawn (Heidi Wadsley) Nielsen and nephews Carson and Jack Nielsen; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family wishes to thank Dr. Danko Martincic and staff at Cancer Care Northwest, also the doctors and nurses at Providence Sacred Heart for their loving and compassionate care. A Funeral Mass is planned for Friday, September 7th, 2pm at Sacred Heart Church in Spokane, with a reception immediately after mass at the church. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation at www.lungcancerresearchfoundation.org, the Spokane Humane Society at www.spokanehumanesociety.org, or charity of choice.

Tracy was an extremely loving and giving lady. Even though she is gone, her legacy will live on in all of our hearts. As she walks with Father god, I know she will be there to meet us when our time comes. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Our sincere condolences to the Cromwell and Nielsen families. May the words of Isaiah 57:15, bring you comfort, knowing God cares about you. May He continue to give you strength and peace now, and in days to come.

There are no words that can heal the pain from the loss of a loved one before their time. Praying for you all in this time of sorrow and grief. Remember the good, remember the laughter, remember the love and remember to breathe.

Condolences to you all from the Sharp Family, Randi, Michelle, Laura and Jay.
