Vicki Fay Neely, born Eacker, 82, passed away peacefully at her home in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on June 19, 2021. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Maynard and Anne Eacker, and brother, Russell Eacker.

Vicki was born in Weiser, Idaho in 1939 and was known throughout her life for the grace, love, and compassion she showed to every person she met. Vicki graduated from Weiser High School in 1957. After her graduation, Vicki was trained as an X-Ray technician.

Vicki met Jerry Neely on a blind date, and the two were married in July, 1960 and spent 61 loving years together. Vicki and Jerry spent many years living in Spokane, Washington where they raised their two children, Siobhan Wolf and Bruce. During her children's younger years Vicki spent her time volunteering in their classrooms, helping out with their clubs and activities, and leading a Camp Fire Girls group. Vicki then worked as an Office Manager for Spokane Oncology until her retirement in 2005.

Vicki strived to live a life of service and was an active member of her church as well as a Past Guardian of Job's Daughters Bethel 1 in Spokane. In 2019 Vicki was recognized as a 50-year member of P.E.O.

Vicki had an immense passion for life, and spent as much time as she could exploring the world. During her life she saw Ireland, Scotland, and traveled across much of the United States. Vicki touched hearts across the world, and was beloved by everyone she met.

After retiring in 2005, Vicki and Jerry moved to Coeur d'Alene where she spent the final 16 years of her life. Retirement never slowed Vicki down, and she remained an active member of her community. Not only did Vicki and Jerry continue to travel as track and field officials for college meets and Olympic Trials, but she also filled her days with volunteering at the Coeur d'Alene Public Library Store, the Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre, and St. Luke's Episcopal Church Women's Guild. Vicki was a devoted grandmother, and always made time to visit, support, and cheer on all of her granddaughters. Vicki was always there with a ready ear and a loving heart for family and friends alike.

Vicki is survived by her husband Gerald (Jerry) Neely, brother Jay Eacker, daughter Siobhan Wolf Shaffer, son Bruce and daughter-in-law Toni Neely, three beautiful granddaughters, numerous nieces and nephews, and countless loving friends.
