BOZZI, Vincent Edward Vince is remembered for his passion to his son, family, friends, city and region, all of which he cherished. His passion was expressed and felt, from the very beginning, through an imagination that fueled his entrepreneurial spirit over a lifetime. He was born in Spokane, WA on December 1, 1957 to Betty Cowan and Frank Bozzi (both deceased). He grew up in Spokane in Hillyard, creating a close bond with his four sisters. With them he spearheaded many adventures and tested many childhood business ventures. Just a few were creating a kid's music-focused handwritten magazine, summer carnivals, where colored glass found in fields and alleys was the currency. He opened a restaurant/kids nightclub in the garage called "Bozzi's Place" for his family and the neighborhood. He did this all while delivering the largest paper route in Spokane for many years. He continued to experimented with many other businesses and amassed an unbelievably large record collection which ultimately led to selling records. Vince graduated from Rogers High School and went on to attend Eastern Washington University where he earned a degree in Business Administration. After graduating he worked at the United States Postal Service for 13 years and also wrote for various popular magazines during this time. Vince met and married his wife, Emily, on April 27th, 1987. Together they became the dynamic duo. Shortly thereafter, Jordon was born, and Vince became "Dad". The title was short, but his influence was long and powerful. For Jordan, he modeled his immense imagination and love by creating a magical childhood that will not be forgotten. As Jordan grew to adulthood, he helped his son become a man of whom Vince and Emily could be proud. Emily and Vince created a successful local business that provided entertainment and services to the community via the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene magazine, art galleries, concerts, and local catered events that recognized and awarded the people of the community. Best of Spokane and Hot Summer Nights were two yearly events they hosted that stood out and were enjoyed my many residents of Spokane and the surrounding area. They loved mixing with people at the events and could be found regularly laughing, dancing and genuinely encouraging all to have a good time. Vince Bozzi passed away on January 6, 2021 and is survived by his son Jordan Bozzi, sisters Cecilia Parker, Julie Bozzi, Angie Bozzi, and Shirley Hudson, their spouses and many other relatives. He will be remembered warmly by all those that experienced the touch of his passion and imagination. We thank all of you for your heartfelt messages and prayers during these past five weeks.
