William Scott "Bill" DAY Jr.

Born June 15th, 1955, in Spokane, WA, deceased February 4th, 2025, in Olympia, WA. Parents, William Scott Day Sr. and Norma M. Day. Bill passed away on February 4th, 2025, after battling a long-term illness, with his loving family by his side. Bill graduated from St. Peter's Grade School in 1969 and Ferris High School in 1973 in Spokane. Bill continued his education at Eastern Washington University in Business Marketing and Political Science. Following in his father's footsteps, Bill was elected to the Washington State House of Representatives in 1984-1992, representing the 3rd Legislative District in Spokane for four terms. Bill's other notable careers include working as a Lobbyist to the Legislature, a Real Estate Agent, an Automobile Salesman, and even owned his own restaurant called "Mr. Bill's" in the early '80s. Bill enjoyed listening to music and had the uncanny ability to pick the next chart topper.

Preceded in death by his parents; older siblings, Diana K. Grimm-Day, Dr. John W. Day, and Danial L. Day Sr.; and nephew, Danial L. Day Jr.

Bill is survived by his wife, Bonnie Day of Olympia; his youngest brother, Dr. Timothy J. Day of Spokane; and his three sons and their families: William Scott "Will" Day III and his wife, Sara and their children, Tyler, Toby, William IV and Aviana of Marysville, WA; son, John Day and his daughters, Faith and Alexis Day of Spokane; and son, Dean Day and his children, Addison and Roman of Boise, ID.

Bill also leaves behind many other beloved family members and dear friends who will never forget his wild sense of humor, his constant hilarious sarcasm, and infectious attitude and smile. Bill was a loving, kind and caring person who was well-loved and will be missed by all who knew him and who look forward to seeing him in Heaven again someday.

Bill's celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 24th, at 2PM, at 2713 E. Sprague Ave., in Spokane, WA.
