Passed away November 22nd, 2017 after a brief illness. He is survived by Maggie Owens, mother of their five children: Shawn, (Helen), Maureen, (Albert), Patrick, Michael, (Debbie), and Michelle; grandson, Dominic Lodovici, and 10 nephews and nieces. Born April 15, 1929 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Bill spent his early childhood in Mullan, ID, and Colfax and Chewelah, WA. He is preceded in death by his parents Arbin and Anna Eggers and brothers Stewart, USMC and Robert, Colonel, USMC Ret. Bill was a quiet, very proud Veteran, joining in 1946, serving as a Navy Radioman throughout the Korean war, and then serving with the Air Force, first at NORAD and then with the Armed Forces Radio and Television Network in the Philippines during the Vietnam war until his retirement in 1967. Bill and his brothers' lifelong inter-service rivalry was a source of entertainment for all, but made for an inseparable bond between them. Bill's quick wit and silky smooth golf swing were his trademarks, and along with his faith in Jesus Christ, carried him through to his passing. Funeral services will be held December 7th, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Georges Catholic Church, Post Falls, ID with Military Honors Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery at 2:00.
