Amanda ROBERTS Obituary


News Death Notice

ROBERTS, Amanda L. 30, of Bellefontaine, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday evening, October 30, 2012 in her residence. She was born in Springfield on April 23, 1982, the daughter of Donald and Beth (Proctor) Steinberger. Amanda was a 2000 graduate of Springfield North High School and served her country in the U.S. Navy. She worked with at-risk youth for several years and later with the developmentally disabled. She is survived by her parents of Springfield; husband, Dustin M. Roberts; step-son, Kaleb Roberts; sister, Evyn Steinberger of Springfield; maternal grandmother, Joan Proctor of Florida; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Loyann and Roger Roberts of Catawba; a special great aunt, Louise Shinn of Springfield; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert Proctor and paternal grandparents, Warren C. and Elizabeth Jean Steinberger. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Amanda's funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday in Grace Lutheran Church with Pastors Daniel M. Powell and Conrad Esh officiating.
