Boris M. Mehoff

News Death Notice

MEHOFF, Boris M. "Bo" 80, of Springfield, died September 28, 2011 in his residence. He was born February 1, 1931 in Springfield, OH to Kosta and Slavka (Mavroff) Mehoff. Boris was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Notre Dame. He began a career in architecture with Jack Kline, was self employed for a number of years and then retired from Wasserstrom in Columbus, OH. He was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mary A. (Stavroff); four daughters Julie (Mark) Bodnar, Cincinnati, OH, Karen Mehoff and Lisa Mehoff, Los Angeles, CA and Marsha Mehoff, Springfield; four grandchildren, Marissa, Bo, Jazz and CT; a sister, Sophia Turnbull, Springfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bo loved his wife and family, Notre Dame football and big band jazz, was a devout Catholic, and was passionate in his political beliefs and love for his country. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in St. Teresa Church with family receiving friends one-hour prior in the church, beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Catholic Central High School Athletic Department. Arrangements are being handled by the CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
