To My Dad,
Dad you are greatly missed and you have only been gone a short time.It feels like a whole new world without you here.It is diffrent not hearing the jokes, getting the phone calls from you,or just knowing that you are there when i need to talk.I know with time this will heal but till then i will miss you and know that my love for you will continue on.You were the best father a son could have and i cherish the memories of hunting trips, fishing trips, and the memories of just being with you.See you soon my friend, father, and best buddy.

The Broken Chain

We little knew the morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly
in death we do the same
You did not go along
for part of us went with you
the day god called you home.

You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
and although we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.

Your family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.

No one can replace Cecils laugh, he was always ready with a joke. He made everyone smile while he kept a stright face. He will forever be with each person that he touched with the word of God.

Nellie and family,
Jack has known your family longer than I have, but the two years that I have know Cecil and the family have been a blessing to me. I have a lot of fond memories of Cecil. But what I will take with me is his love for the Lord and his passion for the lost. For that he will always be an inspiration to me. When I think of Cecil now, I will think of the verse 2Timothy 4:7. He truly has fought the good fight and he has won his race.
Praying that you will find peace and comfort in God's love. God Bless you all.
In Christ's love,
Jack & Kris Sodders
