Christopher Robinson Obituary
News Death Notice
ROBINSON, Christopher D. 53, of South Charleston, formerly of London, went home to be with the Lord after several years of illness on Thursday, July 14, 2011. Chris was born on July 7, 1958, the son of David Robinson and Marcia (Russell) Roach. Chris managed the Pizza Hut in London for many years and was also a very active member of the London community. He was on the board of the LABC and was very honored to run the Jerry Lewis MDA telethon. He was a proud and loving father who was always supportive in his children's athletic events and extracurricular activities and will be deeply missed by the many people who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Marcia (Bill) Roach; father, David (Karen) Robinson; sons, Peter (Aundrea "Auny") Robinson and Bryan Robinson; daughter, Brittany Robinson; grandchildren, Codie, Baileigh and Gracie Robinson; aunt Elaine (Steve) Massie and aunt Wanda Wall; step-brothers, John (Dena) Roach, Matt Roach and Mark Roach; niece, Maya Roach; mother of his son Peter, Rhonda Frable; mother of his children Bryan and Brittany, Marcia Lehmenkuler; and several cousins and friends. Chris was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Robinson; maternal grandparents, Donald and Florence Russell and paternal grandparents, Carl and Mabel Robinson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the INGLING WILLIAMS & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME-South Charleston, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 10 a.m. Pastor Doug Thompson officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to help Chris's family at any PNC Bank to the Chris Robinson memorial fund. I got to know Chris when he worked at Stanley Electric in London Ohio.
He was my assistant group leader, enjoyable to work with and full of life.
He liked golf and was always in an upbeat mood. A very likeable guy, who I had the pleasure of knowing.

Worked closely with Chris for those last 6 years at Pizza Hut. In fact, he is the one that gave me the courage to leave that job and begin a new career at Stanley where we enjoyed several more years as co-workers. Chris was a great friend and a great person. When I last seen him, we shared our common faith in God, through Christ. Lots of great memories. He will be missed by many. God Bless.
