Family-Placed Obituary

ROE, Devon "CoCo" 62, of Springfield, passed away January 5, 2005 in Community Hospital. He was born in Springfield, Ohio the sixth child to Rev. Milton and Mabel (Lucas) Roe. CoCo was employed at Frigidaire and Wright State University. He is survived by his wife and companion, Barbara (Baker) Roe; six daughters, Evon and Barbara Mack both of California, Toni Tilley, Marcia Carter, Mesha Smith and Morocca Baker all of Springfield; two sons, Gregory Weaver of Atlanta, Georgia and Derrick Weaver of Springfield; two step-daughters, Illesa Phillips and Gail Smith; six brothers, Milton Roe, Eld. Richard (Ida) Re, LaValle (Yvonne) Roe, Kenneth Roe, Charles Roe, Gary (Roxanne) Roe and Keith Roe; three sisters, Zetta Stroder, Dorwilda Willis and Jacqueline Roe; 16 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Friday from 4-6 p.m. in the Highlight Baptist Church, 909 South Western Avenue. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday in the church. The family of Devon Roe is being served by Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
