Doralta Titchen Obituary
Quinebaug - Doralta (Dora) (Defilippo) Titchen, 99, of Watson Rd., currently residing at Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Day Kimball Hospital due to complications of Covid 19. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas Titchen who died on November 30, 2001. Born in N. Grosvenordale, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Antoinette (Alberti) Defilippo.
Mrs. Titchen worked as a winder for Mattson Mills for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting.
Dora is survived by her daughter, Linda Integlia and her husband Pasquale "Pat" of So. Killingly; her sons, Thomas R. Titchen (Beth) of Lake Havasu, AZ; Jim Titchen (Lynda) of Arlington, WA; granddaughters, Holly Titchen of CA, Cheryl Titchen of NV and Angela Brodeur of CA; and three great grandchildren, Trishell Drennan, James Drennan, and Justin Veal. Dora was the last surviving of her nine siblings.
A private Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Stephen's Church in Quinebaug with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Valade Funeral Home & Crematory, 23 Main St., N. Grosvenordale, CT.
