Doris HIGHMILLER Obituary
News Death Notice
HIGHMILLER, Doris Lee (Brown) 91, of Springfield, passed away April 18, 2013. She was born April 27, 1921 in Urbana, the daughter of Harvey Lee and Estella (Parlette) Brown. Mrs. Highmiller was a member of the United Methodist Church and had been employed at Circle Cab Company. Survivors include four children; Sondra Shelton, Springfield, Nancy Saylor, Texas, William (Margaret) Highmiller and Robert Highmiller, Springfield, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; Russell Arnold Highmiller Sr., her son; Russell Highmiller Jr. and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Chapel with Pastor Richard Johnson officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services in the chapel. Burial will follow. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES - KENNEY - ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.

Doris was a delight to be with as her pastor at Columbus Ave. UMC! Her love for God and others was obvious, and she had a unique way of stating her opinion. I learned alot from her, and she is receiving her reward in heaven now. Douglas Thompson
