News Death Notice
BAKER, Eva Michelle 47 of St. Paris passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 18, 1964 in Layfayette, Indiana the daughter of David and Cathy (Gray) Riley. Eva was a graduate from Graham High School and received her Business Associates Degree from Clark State Community College. Eva was employed at Job & Family Services in Champaign County for 6 years. She was a manager of Terre Haute Grocery Store for 25 years. Eva was a kind, loving and giving person. She is survived by her parents, David and Cathy Riley of Urbana; her husband of 13 years, Dale Baker; her sisters, Diane (Ed) Cox of Urbana and Kelly (Mike) McFall of Attica, IN; her brothers, Brian Riley of Erlanger, KY and David Jr. (Roberta) Riley of Urbana; her father and mother in-law, Marvin & Grace Baker of St. Paris; numerous nieces & nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 - 8p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. Funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in the funeral home with Chaplain Chuck Healey officiating. Burial will follow at Terre Haute Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.vernonfh.com.

Michelle was the "bestest" friend anyone could have. Thankful to have shared so many great memories from sixth grade on with Michelle and her family. She was there for my heartbreaks, high school graduation, weddings, first child's birth, and dad's funeral. She was just a phone call away and now always in spirit. Honored to have named my daughter Stefania Michelle. Love to all!!
