Fairy BANDY-WILSON Obituary

BANDY-WILSON (nee: Whitt), Fairy 98 of Morrow, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Born to Miles P. and Maudie (nee: Helton) Whitt on February 13, 1918 in Magoffin County, KY. Fairy was a hairdresser at Bandy's Beauty Shop for over 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, socializing with friends and making new friends along the way. Fairy was a lifelong member of Pleasant Grove Church of God and an active member with the Morrow Order of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, William G. Bandy, second husband, Chester Wilson, son, Harold Guy Bandy, three brothers, Ledford, Dale and James Whitt, two sisters, Ernie Whitt and Rhuie Crosley and one step-grandson, David "Randy" Cook. Fairy is survived by her daughter, Deloris (C.E) Shelton of Morrow, son, Donald Ray (Darlene) Bandy of Morrow, eight grandchildren, Mike (Bobbie) Allison, Jerry (Ida Jo) Allison, Ken Allison, Jody (Dirk) Stultz, Darren Bandy and 5 great grandchildren. Step-grandchildren include Dana (Carl) Chiaramonte, Desiree (Tom) Wood, Denebola (Rob) Proctor and 4 step-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27th from 10:00-11:00AM with a funeral service beginning at 11:00AM all at Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home. Interment in Clarksville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Pleasant Grove Church. Online condolences can be sent to www.hoskinsfh.com.
