Gary Proctor Obituary


News Death Notice

PROCTOR, Gary Linwood passed away and was gathered by angels on November 1, 2011, after a lengthy illness. He was born February 22, 1954, in Cannelton WV to Sterling Proctor, Sr and Betty Lou (Estep) Proctor. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Margaret L. (Linthicum) Proctor, brothers Sterling Proctor, Jr and Wayne Proctor, and sister Peggy Preece. He was preceded in death by his parents. Although Gary and Maggie had no children, he was loved by many nephews and nieces, as well as many wonderful friends. Gary enjoyed fishing, camping, and having a backyard barbeque. Gary donated his body to the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine for medical research and study. There will be no funeral. A remembrance ceremony is planned for a later date.
