FOGLE, Gladys Marie (Coss) 87, of Springfield, entered into eternal peace with her Savior at 4:26 a.m. Sunday in Alterra Sterling House. She was born in Springfield on Christmas Day in 1917 to Lawrence and Anna (Weisenberger) Coss. She was a graduate of Springfield High School and lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was an avid recipe collector and enjoyed camping and yard work. She played piano and her walls were covered with her own watercolor paintings. She was a member of The Camplighters Camping Group, The Home Extension Club, Elderly United and the Alpha-Omega Sunday School Class. She retired from the Credit Life Insurance Company in 1982 and was a former employee of Crowell- Collier, Wright Patterson Air Force Base and a Sears store in Memphis, Tennessee. Her 54 year marriage to Roy Rei Fogle was blessed with three children, Peggy (Bill) Jacobs, Riverton, Wyoming, Roger (Gerrie) Fogle and Craig (Ruth) Fogle, all of Springfield. She leaves to her cherished memory along with her children, six grandchildren, Scott (Valerie) Fogle, Paul (Cindy) Fogle and Eric (Venessa) Fogle, all of Florida, Jennifer Jacobs, Riverton, Wyoming, Kevin Fogle and Molly (Joshua) Hawk, Springfield; four great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Hannah, Sebastian and Zoe Fogle, all of Florida; one sister, Virginia Raster and nephews Herman and Larry Raster and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister Lois Raster, brother-in-law Dick Raster and niece Connie Raster. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with visitation one-hour prior to services. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or Elderly United.
