Imogene Myers Obituary


News Death Notice

MYERS, Imogene Noble 74, of Springfield, died Saturday afternoon, February 19, 2011 in Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born in Talcum (Knott County), Kentucky on October 24, 1936 the daughter of William Daniel and Malinda (Francis) Noble. Imogene was active in antiques, collectibles, and flea markets. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory and Dorian Myers of Columbus and William "Bernie" and Danita Myers of Aurora, Colorado; three grandchildren, William "Quintin" Myers V and Alexandra and Samuel Myers; two sisters, Clustena (John) Wekluk and Arminda Fugate, both of Enon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William O. Myers Jr.; four brothers, Montie, Hunter, Daniel Jr., and Delza Noble; one sister, Bretta Noble; and a special friend, Kenneth Henderson. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, with William Lott, Minister of Grape Grove Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be at the Enon Cemetery, Enon, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Clintonville Beechwold Community Resources Center, 14 W. Lakeview Ave., Columbus, OH 43202.
