Jacob WAGNER Obituary
News Death Notice
WAGNER, Jacob R. 58, Greenwood, IN, formerly of Springfield, passed away on May 23, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born August 30, 1953 in Springfield, the son of LeRoy J. and Jean Wagner and his maternal mother Patricia (McCoy) Brucker. He was a 1971 graduate of North High School and a graduate from Wright State University. He was an Eagle Scout and past President of Dayton Movers Association. Jacob worked as Vice President of Business Development with Planes Companies. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Theresa (Murphy) Wagner; two children and spouses, Shannon (Brent) Montgomery, Tipp City, OH and Jacob (Jessica) Wagner, Jr., Mooresville, IN; grandchildren, Madelyn and Brennan Montgomery and Cameron Wagner; mother, Jean Wagner; siblings, Gregory (Deena) Wagner, Springboro, Debbie (Scott) Hennigan, Springfield, Tara (Rodger) Shepherd, Scottsdale, AZ, Todd (Lana) Rucker, Miamisburg and Wendy (Jim) Leep, Springfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Tiffany Rucker and nephew, Bryce Wagner. Jacob was a proud father and grandfather. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 25th in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m.on Saturday in St. Raphael Catholic Church with Fr. Dennis Caylor officiating. Prayer service will be at Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Michael P. Maloney Scholarship Fund c/o Catholic Central High School.

Theresa,
I wish I could be there if for no other reason than to give you a hug. I first met Jake on a flight from Chicago and by the time we got to Spfld.,I knew Wagner Mayflower would move us back to Spfld. Our paths crossed again when Theresa and I were in carpool together at St Johns. It is always hard to say good-by.I know our paths shall cross again when we all gather in heaven.Jake is at peace with his Maker,his Journey is completed.May your memories bring you peace of mind.
