News Death Notice

MILLS, Jane E. 96, of Cedarville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 25, 2014. She was born on October 10, 1917, in Ross Township, Ohio, the daughter of the late Amos and Alberta (Burrell) Frame. Jane was a lifelong member of the Cedarville United Methodist Church where she was involved in almost every committee and was on the church council. Her passion at church was leading music, singing and playing the piano. She was a proud graduate of Cedarville University, a member of the Eastern Star, Cedarville Senior Citizens and was instrumental in restoring the Cedarville Opera House. She loved the Historical Society of Cedarville where she kept immaculate records on the history of her town. For many years she worked at the Gift Shop at the Kyle Medical Center in Cedarville. Throughout her life she won many awards including the outstanding woman award in Cedarville. She is survived by many extended family members. Viewing will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. at the Cedarville Presbyterian Church with service beginning at 11 a.m. Pastor Linda Davis officiating. Burial to follow at Grape Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cedarville United Methodist Church fund or Hospitality Home East.
