Jerrold Werneske Obituary

Family-Placed Obituary

WERNESKE, Jerrold F. "Jerry" 70, of Springfield, died unexpectedly, on Monday, April 16, 2007 in Dayton. He was born on August 11, 1936 in Aurora, Illinois the son of Frank and Helen (Pattison) Werneske. He was an active member of the Benevolent Paternal Order of the Elks Lodge 51 where he was currently serving as the Exulted Ruler. Jerry was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans, and the Union Club. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid sports fan. He is survived his wife of fourteen years, Emma Jean (Kincaid) Werneske of Springfield, two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and John McClellan and Amy and John Abell both of Chicago; step-son, Tim Bostic and Madonna Potter of South Vienna, and step-daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Steve Looney of Springfield, seven grandchildren, and family pet, Corona. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Elk's Lodge 51, 126 West High Street, Springfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elk's Lodge Number 51, 126 West High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45502. The family is being served by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
