He was born November 1, 1943 in Springfield, the son of Joseph H. and Helen M. (Smith) Reisinger. Mr. Reisinger was a member of the South Charleston Christian Center. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. Through out the years he never missed any activity his family was involved in. At the age of seven he contracted polio and he struggled with that for his entire life. He was retried from the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 1/2 years; Linda (Smith) Reisinger, three children; Joseph O. (Adrienne) Reisinger, Springfield, Christopher J. Reisinger and Michelle Lucas both of South Vienna, four grandchildren; Darren Smith, Courtney Reisinger, Andrew Reisinger and Brendon Lucas, one brother; David (Betty) Reisinger, Urbana, several nieces and nephews and special friend; Evelyn Fetters, Lancaster, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with funeral services beginning at 7:30 PM with Pastor Aaron Turner officiating. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the South Charleston Christian Center in Sonny's name.
