Son, you are missed so very much. You would have been 35 now. Your sister just bought her own home. This is the hardest day of the year for us. See you when God calls me home! Kiss Tofu for me. I love you dearly.

Dearest son,I still think of you, every day. Life is not easy being here without you. Tofu is doing great, tho I know she misses you too.Every time we hear a train whistle,a faraway look comes into her eyes, and I know she is recalling good memories of riding those trains with you on your adventures around the country. I look forward to the day I see your face again, what a joy that will be. I love you, son. You were a light in my life. Now a memory.

I always thought I would see Josh again someday. I went to school with him in Urbana. He was the coolest guy. We met in Jr. High and stayed friends til he moved away after high school. I know he is in Heaven and I hope he and Adam see each other there. I pray for his family and wish I could have said goodbye.

Josh was my husband's best friend and brother and my baby girl's Uncle Choo-choo. A wonderful person that lived more in his short time on this earth than most do in a hundred years. He will definitely be missed by all of his friends from so many different places.

Josh spent a lot of time at my house with Dan. He was funny and kind and he loved his dog Tofu. He was a free spirit with itchy feet. May he find peace on this last journey.

April 26, 2014
