News Death Notice
HENDRICKS, Juan Rico (Rickey) Of Springfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2016 in Dayton, OH. Juan began his life on June 8, 1953 in St. Louis, MO to Cubie Hendricks and Thomasina Waters. Juan spent a short time serving his country in the United States Air Force as a Ground Radio Operator. Throughout his life, Juan pursued many hobbies including singing, playing the trumpet, listening to music, writing poems, repairing things, and utilizing his creativity any way he could. He is preceded by his mother Thomasina and his grandmother Thelma Wrice (Ma). He is survived by his father Cubie of Michigan; his loving wife Debbie Hendricks, of Springfield; his son Waki Houston and daughter-in-law Melissa of Missouri; his daughter Nikki Spencer and son-in-law Nick both of Missouri; sons Juan Hendricks Jr. and Devon Hendricks of Springfield; his sisters Robin Price, Culeta Hendricks and Cheryl Hendricks; his brother Robert Taylor all of Missouri; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial/committal service will be held at 3pm on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Greater Grace Temple , 380 W. Leffel Ln Springfield, OH 45506. Floral arrangements may be sent to Greater Grace Temple or W.E. Lusain Funeral Home, 2455 Stanley Ave. Dayton, OH 45404. Arrangements entrusted to W.E. Lusain Memorial Funeral Home.
