Leonard SONNERS Obituary
News Death Notice
SONNERS, Leonard E. 83, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, March 05, 2014 at Ohio State Medical Center. He was born September 17, 1930 in Springfield the son of Floyd L. and Stephana (Gurnicki) Sonners. Leonard was a truck driver for Howard Sober, Inc. for 28 years. He also retired from the United States Army after 43 years of service, was a member of the Reserve Officers Assoc. and the Military Officers Assoc. of America. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held one-hour prior beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in Asbury Chapel Cemetery.

We have lived next door to Whitie for 25+ years, he was a great neighbor. I will miss our chats at the fence and watching his dogs (his kids as he called them).
