My sincere sympathy in the passing of Mary Kay, your mother, sister, grandmother, friend, and light of so many lives. Mary Kay was always so kind to me and shared her love and talents with all. We will send prayers of intercession up to our dear heavenly Mother to hold her hand as they quickly meet Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Love, Cousin Jo Ann (Metzger) Hartwig

Karen, family and friends,
Kay was more fun than a bucket of tadpoles! Wouldn't the grand kids love to make them pets!
As a musician, Kay really loved to hear the people sing (she said it covered her mistakes!), none of which I ever remember. She was good and was a real treasure to St. Michael's Parish. She was a good friend to many, and she loved to talk to you on the telephone! I will miss her kindness and her generosity. She is now with others that she has loved in this world, so, "let the laughter begin!"

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I only met Kay once when I visited them while in Ohio. She was so nice.

Karen, what wonderful and fun memories I have of Mary Kay...they start during kindergarten and St. Joe's and continue through high school and into your adulthood! Your Mom, me, Julie Greene and Carol Yontz and the crazy times we had when you kids were in school, those times were so much fun for all of us...probably not so much for our kids, though. Remember the band? Now, those times were hilarious...going to Hardees after practice or whatever because it was the coldest place in town! It makes me smile to remember those days. Thanks for the memories...they always help us to get through these trying times. I know that she would want us to be laughing instead of crying at this time...after all she had the greatest laugh of all! God Bless you and your family.
