Growing up down the street from the Esterline's, I spent a lot of time around Mike, Gloria, Christy and Lisa. I can remember hitting wiffle balls in their backyard while Mike tinkered in the garage working on cars. He was always a warm, welcoming and caring husband and father.
My heart goes out to his family and friends. Mike will be missed. My deepest sympathy.

Lisa, Extremely sorry to hear of the loss of your daddy. The loss of a father/dad is so hard. Rely on the memories and of the things your dad taught you. Right now you don't understand, but be comforted that he is with Jesus and your grandpa at home. For this is not our home, but just a temporary place. Our forever home is with Jesus in Heaven. I will be praying for you, as this is a difficult time. In the years to come the tears and saddenss will become less and you will be able to speak of him with joy and laughter. Look forward to the day when you are reunited, but always remember he is right beside you always and in your heart. Much LOVE and Peace to you,

Oh Daddy, I don't even know where to begin. You taught me everything I could have ever needed to know to survive on my own. I can't believe you are gone. Elly keeps walking around the house in circles and Maizey went crazy smelling the boxes of pics I brought home with me, she thought you were in the Nike box. How do you make a pet, or anyone understand a human is gone, when you don't even understand? I know you only had daughters, but I tried to be as much of a son to you that I could. I will miss the IndyCar Race this August and all of the times we spent in the garage. Don't worry, we'll take care of mom. You give love to Grandpa Bob and Jack, Grandma Teets, and PT and Connie. I LOVE YOU!!!
