Mildred SHAW Obituary


News Death Notice

SHAW, Mildred K. 72, of South Charleston, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013 in Springfield. Mildred was born on December 29, 1940 to the late James and Birdie (Mays) Fugett in West Liberty, Kentucky. She spent most of her time as a homemaker and loved all animals; she was even a member of the Humane Society, as well as a member of the South Charleston Heritage Commission. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Shaw; sisters, Patty (Alan) Lemming of Spring Valley, Arlene Thompson of Springfield; and brother, Phillip Fugett of Atlanta. Along with her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Venable, as well as her brothers, James Fugett Jr., Roosevelt Fugett, and Clyde Fugett. Visitation will be held at INGLING WILLIAMS & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, South Charleston, on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 10-11am, with a funeral service to follow at 11am, also at the funeral home; Pastor Walter Mock will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston. Condolences may be made to the family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com.
