Pat and I were very close when we were school age. But Vietnam came along and as adults we ended up in different parts of the world. I miss Pat. He was a very very loyal friend.

As we deal with this loss and move on as best we can our children want people to know about their dad. Pat graduated north high school, served in vietnam, then got married January24th, 1971. We had two children, James and Mieko, then in 1980 due to the loss of my sister we adopted our third child Trina. Pat worked at the shipyards in Louisiana for many years. We eventually moved to Fairhope,Alabama and he became a locksmith with his stepfather. He was diagnosed with diabetes in the early eighties and struggled with it for years but still took care of us . We have seven grandchildren whom he adored and loved being around . They just made his face light up. As we all struggle with this loss we appreciate all the prayers being sent our way. We. Know he struggles no more. Marcia Shroyer

Our loss is great .Pat was a great husband , father and grandfather. He was loved by many. He was very proud of being a vietnam veteran and fighting for his country.
