News Death Notice
McKINNEY, Richard K. 60, of Springfield passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 26, 1956 in Springfield, the son of the late Ralph and Ina (Lee) McKinney. He retired from Vinces Refuse Services after 30 plus years. Richard enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include one sister, Nancy Ferryman of Springfield; one brother, Donald (Juanita) McKinney of Springfield and numerous nieces and nephews. A very special thanks to Billie Sarven, Linda McKinney, Amie Sarven and Brandy Cox. He was preceded in death by one sister, Linda French and three brothers, Michael, William and Terry McKinney. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Springfield Regional Medical Center. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
