BELCHER, TSgt Robert Dwaine - retired Robert Dwaine Belcher, 63, went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 1, 2012 after 20 years of a courageous struggle with failing health. He was born Sept 20, 1948 in Troy, Ohio to Richard and Norma (Mangas) Belcher. He served in the US Air Force primarily in Security starting in Vietnam and continued his service in other parts of the world including South Korea, Texas, Wyoming, Guam, & New York. He retired from the USAF in 1987 & worked as a purchasing agent until he became disabled. He is survived by his wife, Robann Belcher; daughter, Christine Girard; son, Tony Belcher; stepchildren, Stephanie Dobbin, Gary Horner, & Vonnie Stultz; one sister, Ruth Douglas; three half brothers, Robert Cook, Jr, Henry Cook, Don Cook; and the pride of his life, his 10 grandchildren. Robert loved fishing, gospel & country music, wood work, photography, making people laugh, sports, & his family. Robert touched the lives of others because of the way he gave, loved, & encouraged. He will be missed by many. Memorial service will be at Grace Baptist Church, Las Vegas, on April 11th at 5:30. Burial will be at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, NV on April 12th.
