WELTER, Robert M. 85, formerly of Medway, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2005 at the Summit at Park Hills, Fairborn, Ohio. He was born October 3, 1920 in Clark County, Ohio the son of the late Oliver M. and Margaret (Maxon) Welter. He was a member of the Medway United Methodist Church, Elderly United of New Carlisle, and the Olive Branch Grange. He was a Bethel Township Superintendent from 1975 to 1985. He is survived by two daughters, Myrna R. Payne, of New Carlisle, Ohio, Gloria J. and William Turner, of Medway, Ohio; two grandchildren, Mary K. Kuse, of Thousand Oaks, California, Lauren R. Turner, of Medway; a great grandchild, Quintin Kuse, of Thousand Oaks, California; sisters and brothers, Catherine Vogel of Suawnee, Georgia, Wilma J. and Kenneth Bishop, of Medway, Dorothy and Earl Luckett, of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, Oliver "Jake" Welter, of New Carlisle, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Catherine L. (Izor) Welter. Services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at the TROSTEL-CHAPMAN FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with Pastor Ron Lee officiating. Burial at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
