He was a genuine person. His smile made Jr. high bearable and his teaching made learning fun. He will be fondly remembered by all of his students.

Mr. Leach was one of my favorite teachers. I had him for history in 8th grade at Roosevelt and I remember him as a chaperone for several of the dances; then when I was a nervous sophomore starting high school at North, I was very happy to see that he had transferred to North & would be my homeroom teacher. It was nice to see a familiar (faculty) face! I can't remember a time when he didn't have a smile on his face or time for a student who needed help with coursework. He was one of those teachers that truly cared about his students. He was a blessing to many and will be missed. My condolences & prayers go out to his family.
