News Death Notice
MCAFEE, Roger B. 36, of Springfield, passed away March 19, 2016. He was born November 1, 1979 in Springfield the son of Roger A. McAfee and Linda S. (Munger) McAfee. Roger enjoyed fishing and camping and was employed in tree service. Survivors include his mother Linda of Indian Lake, his father Roger of Springfield, four children; Aaron, Dakota, Roger and Xavary, siblings; Shawnda McAfee, Springfield, Erin (Robert) Griffin, Vandalia, Travis McAfee and Kyler McAfee, Springfield, aunt; Melanie Meade, Springfield, step mother; Melinda McAfee, Springfield, step father; Jeff McCafferty, Indian Lake and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents; Roger and Beverly (Trossen) McAfee, maternal grandparents; Ralph and Maureen Dunfee, niece; Paytin Emmalin Griffin, uncle; Greg Munger and aunt; Julie Kruzan. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00PM until 6:00PM Monday in the JONES -KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Memorial services will be held at 6:00PM with Pasto Rick Clos officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions maybe made to McKinley Hall.
