Not sure what to say?

You may think I'm a dreamer, But I'm not the only one. I hope some day you'll join us and the World will live as one.

Dale lets not cry because it's over, lets smile because of all the good things that happened because Sonny was here among us. My brother my mentor my friend. . Now I'm an old hippie but that was Sonny's idea too. All I have to say is "Though nothing can bring back the hour Of Splendor in the grass, Of glory in the flower, We will grieve not, but rather find Strength in what remains behind. And I believe that's the way he would have wanted it Dale. I love you both forever and ever Amen.

Dale, It's Joy. I just couldn't write anything in the memory basket. The brain was dead. You know how much I loved all of you! I was always so jealous of you two and the special love you had that endeared everything. He was my special baby. You made such beautiful babies and got beautiful grandbabies. The last we spoke I was bad. We talked alot and at the end he won the battle with me. He knew he would. He was the prettiest , the funniest, the workingest, loving, and always there for everyone. I know he couldn't have had an enemy in the world. I still want to walk out in the back yard and moon him. It just seems like the right thing to do. I'll have to wait till after dark, I wouldn't want to blind anyone. I just wanted to try to say something before the guest book run out. I love you with all my heart and you know Sonny had a special place in my heart (both of you). I'll call later. LOVE YA JOY

Dale, Jamie, Uncle Sammy...

I am so sorry that you have to deal with this so early in life. I have always loved and admired ya'll. Sonny was a hero of sorts to me as he was able to be so musically inclined w/o even trying! I remember the day you guys got married as a beautiful day of love and sunshine for all! Uncle Sammy, You have been the backbone in my becoming an event producer at some of the largest Bluegrass Music venues in the country, as well as the inspiritation behind my creating my own enity of business. I couldn't play as well as ya'll, but I found my nitch in the business because of ya'll! The "jams" I have witnessed in Enon have, and will always mean alot to me!
Sonny, Give my LOVE to you're Lovely Mother, My "Auntie Doris"; Our beloved grandparents, "Mommy Ethel and Pa" and our beloved ancestors we share!
You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm NOT the only one. My beloved Cousin Sonny Back, Rest in Peace Buddy!

Dear Dale and family, I cannot tell you how deep my sadness goes for you and to all of us that knew and loved Sonny. He was one of a kind. He sure loved you guys and everytime I talked to him, the conversation always was about you Dale, or Jamie, or little Isaac, or anyone else in his family. Knowing Sonny, he's there getting the place ready for the rest of his family and friends, scoping out where the fun is. He will be missed so much more than he would have ever believed. God bless you, and I hope if you need anything you will please let me know. Much love and sincerest condolences to you all.
