News Death Notice
PERNELL, Steven Willis 37, of Springfield passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 10, 2015. He was born July 9, 1977 in Springfield, the son of Willis and Donna (Estep) Pernell. Mr. Pernell attended the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing darts and had won several dart championships. He had been employed at OHI-Tech. Survivors include his fiancée; Tami Daley, two children; Stephanie Pernell (Dylan Potter) and Neal Pernell, his parents; Willis and Donna Pernell, Springfield, his maternal grandmother; Vada Estep, three sisters; Kathy (Ross) Gaudet, Colorado Springs, CO., Shannon (Greg) Meade and Dana (Avery) Skiles, Springfield and numerous nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00PM until 5:00PM Saturday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 5:00PM with Brother James Chubb officiating.

I only met Steve a few times and did not know him well. I just know he made you happy and that's what I knew. I am so sorry for your loss. Cherish your memories and the time you had together. Some never find that great love in their life.
