1925 - 2018

BAUGH, Sr., Thomas A. 92, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at SRMC. He was born November 22, 1925 in Eubank, Kentucky, the son of Elza and Grace (McNelly) Baugh. Mr. Baugh was retired from Springfield Township. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed woodworking, tending to his tomato plants, and working on his car. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, June (Durrant) Baugh; two daughters, Karen (Ron) Murray and Kathy (Martin) Compton, all of Springfield; four grandchildren, Joy (James) Walker, Jill Wombles, Jeffrey Baugh, and Samuel Compton; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Wanda Childers and Danny (Mary) Baugh; sister-in-law, Maurene Baugh, all of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Baugh, Jr.; sister, Hazel Smith; brothers, Russell Baugh, Woody Baugh, and Leon Baugh; and his parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Bud Rose officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1:30 until 2:30.
